I only use Bullseye Art Glass - 3mm thick which I often double up to include metal, bubbles or other such inclusions - depending on what I am creating. I use a vast range of accessories that come from across the world. You will notice that the majority of my creations are strictly one offs - that is because I am anxious to expand my my skill set.
I'm usually found in my studio - listening to music, having just got back from walking the dogs... My walks are my planning time - what I am inspired to try next.. I grew up next to the sea, and spent 30 odd years, on and off, rowing on the River Severn in the main - so water is a powerful influence on me - as are the colours of blue & green - nothing speaks to me louder than shades of these colours.. I do bespoke Commissions and do not charge more than for my regular work - so give me a call for a chat!

And that is all before the kilns themselves!
If there is ever such a piece that can be called "typical" - this is a large hand cut circle - two pieces of glass cut and fused together - in this case there was black powdered glass sandwiched between the panes - then the edges were cold worked so that they were beautifully finished. If there is ever such a piece that can be called "typical" - this is a large hand cut circle - two pieces of glass cut and fused together - in this case there was black powdered glass sandwiched between the panes - then the edges were cold worked so that they were beautifully finished. This was to be an evening, moody, forest piece so I added lots of bluebells, forget me nots, some dashes of vibrant yellow and some really fresh green as the leaves on the tree canopy..
My two dogs and new kitten keep me company in my Studio & let me work for a couple hours each day - which is why there will never be mass production! As you can imagine, I am forced to keep all surfaces clear as I can't have my girls stepping on anything - its a good discipline
